DVR Remote App Reviews

Used the app tonight through an entire show. It worked flawlessly. There is something about an actual remote though, and the ability to keep your finger on the button, pressing it when youre ready. Not so with this. Small criticism. Good app.

I cant figure out who counts the stars in the Apple rating system. This app is clearly five stars.

Totally does everything as requested. A bit laggy at times, but good otherwise.

I dont care for the buttons. They dont look like they belong on an iPhone and they are a bit small. I would like to be able to remove icons I dont use. Also sometimes looses connection.

Immediate, smooth operation over wi-fi - no lag like I was getting with the regular remote. Three bucks is a small price to pay for the improvement.

1. The issue with "broken pipes" gets fixed. The scenario is that I constantly get these errors. I have to restart the app to get it to work again. 2. I cant get out of "Kidz Zone" with it. The keyboard function doesnt seem to have a way to enter numbers into this screen. Other than that, Im really pleased. Ive found myself using it more than the regular remote.

Very quick and smooth. I really like how simply the program is. Im a big fan of all remote programs since it looks so magical that you can control TV from your mobile phone ;D

Makes text entry a snap. Feels snappier than my original remote. The colorized buttons and their layout are nicely done, well worth adding to your apps.

So impressed I had to write. Setup was a cinch and works just as advertised. Text entry is the best feature but the remote programming interface is sooo much better than going through the website. Thanks.

Love the app!!! Would love the added ability to change channel up or down using a right / left swipe.

Oops! Now I cant use it at all (until I upgrade to OS3?). Sigh.

Easy to install, fast response time, no more searching the house for the remote!

It works well. However, theres no channel up/down button. The other problem is that you can view what you recorded, but cannot press a button to play any of the recordings. Makes no sense. Who cares if you can view them, but cannot click on them to play. Pretty stupid.
