Pros and cons of DVR Remote app for iPhone and iPad

DVR Remote app good for

Used the app tonight through an entire show. It worked flawlessly. There is something about an actual remote though, and the ability to keep your finger on the button, pressing it when youre ready. Not so with this. Small criticism. Good app.

I cant figure out who counts the stars in the Apple rating system. This app is clearly five stars.

Totally does everything as requested. A bit laggy at times, but good otherwise.

Thanks for the heads up Cali! Works great! Ill never have to wrestle the remote from my kids again! And the text entry is amazing. Keep up the good work!

Immediate, smooth operation over wi-fi - no lag like I was getting with the regular remote. Three bucks is a small price to pay for the improvement.

Works just like it says it does and it works great! No problems at all!

Some bad moments

Oops! Now I cant use it at all (until I upgrade to OS3?). Sigh.

It works well. However, theres no channel up/down button. The other problem is that you can view what you recorded, but cannot press a button to play any of the recordings. Makes no sense. Who cares if you can view them, but cannot click on them to play. Pretty stupid.

This is an average app. There are free apps that do the same, but I was hoping for more than just channel controls and tv program searching. When will you include volume controls? When you include volume controls, then I will consider raising my rating possibly to 4 or 5 stars, depending on what else you update.

Please update this app. It is Very slow with ios4 new software

The remote itself MAJOR LAG. The "easy type" search bar that is the main reason you would buy this app DOES NOT WORK..

Great app but NO volume control, really? WTF! I have to have IR remote control near by just because of that ... That is really stupid IMHO ... Please add this feature and you will get 5 stars from many of us.
